Many of us are eating like you. We have all tweaked our diets to what works for us. Reducing the sugar is probably what most of us here have in common. I don't do diet foods and I try to avoid junk foods but am not always successful. Some people in the group do better than me though.

Some of the members here share your hobbies. Me especially. LOL. Feel free to join us in the living room and discuss anything that you want to.

MORTICIAADDAMS introduced me to this group as I was looking for an active, chatty group to join. I am not doing a full low carb, high protein and fat diet though. I am doing healthy lifestyle habits and have reduced anything with sugar which means lots of carbs are no longer in my vocabulary. But no foods are off limits to me as I use portion control. I have lost weight the last two weeks since I changed my eating habits. My husband has sorta joined me, which is good.

I am meal planning and we are sticking to it half the time. The grocery list has really gone through a change. No more junk food on the list. We don't do diet foods either. I think regular foods are more satisfying and quite frankly I eat less when I feel satisfied. I don't eat unless I'm hungry and stop when feeling content but not stuffed. I am working on menu plans so if anyone wants to exchange menus let me know.

My family is very important to me and we are close. It includes hubby, two kids, six grandkids, and my five dogs and the kids each have one dog. I enjoy puzzles - jigsaw, word games, and riddles. Also like reading, collecting cookbooks and dachshund items, and wind up watching a lot of TV and surfing the internet since I can no longer do the outdoors activities like hiking, cliff jumping, dancing, volleyball, etc due to physical limitations.
