I love kettlebells and moved from more traditional weights to an emphasis on kettlebells about 10 years ago. I have done other things (bar bells, dumbbells, regular gyms, etc.) before this and since I focused on kettlebells I have had trainers that included more than just kettelbells (I am not in a state with a lot of good kettlebell trainers). But throughout, kettlebells remains my favorite workout - for both cardio and strength training.
Sizes - I started with a 20 lb doing self training, but jumped fairly quickly to 12kg (16 lbs) and now own everything from 10kg (22 lbs) up to 20kg (44 lbs). I also own some sandbags and "sandbag kettlebells".

After self teaching myself for a couple months, I was lucky to live where there was some very good RKC training and joined a bootcamp and received some very good training.

That said...
I lead a weight loss team in the Biggest Loser Team sparkteam.
Resolute Renegades is structured so you can set up your own exercise routines including strength training and food plans and also encourages you to focus on what other elements help YOU lose weight (we are all a little different).

I would love to see some other people who do kettlebells workouts in the group.

If you are interested, check out my blog at:

and check out Resolute Renegades at:

It may be possible to join before the next round if you are interested and don't want to wait - Renegades continues between breaks though less formally and one team does take late arrivals to the current BLC.

Feel free to send me a sparkmail with any questions.
