@simplyish, thanks for the review...you know I broke up with my scale so I am determine to go by the size of my clothes & I have been advised that I need to build muscle. For a long time I was just doing crazy cardio and not much strength. I need to remember that muscle builds the fat so after this 30 day I am going to move on to something else then see how I do then. Right now I don't have time for the gym so this at homework will be great. :)

Hello, Welcome & Best Wishes! I am on Wk4 of R30 and I track it as circuit training. R30 is very challenging and a great workout. I am physically seeing results as far as muscle definition all over but especially my abs/obliques and legs. Results on the scales I haven't seen great results, however I am sure that R30 is really building muscle which in turn will burn more fat. I was a bit concerned about not seeing great results on the scale so I read some message boards about R30 and pretty much everyone was saying the same thing, they really seen physical results as far as muscle definition but they weren't seeing a lot of weightloss or their weightloss had slowed while doing R30 but as soon as they stopped R30 and moved on to other exercise, the pounds really came off. So, their opinion was R30 really built the muscles up to allow for more burn after. So, hopefully that is my case. I really have enjoyed challenging myself with R30 and finding out what I am capable of and I have loved seeing the physical results... I'll definitely do it again but after I've lost more weight.

I am on week two level two of RI30 and let me tell you it's hard!!!!! love it though. I did 30 day Shred as well a while back and this is definitely more challenging. Definitely a great workout. I still track this as circuit training as well. Just like I did the shred. same method she follows 3-2-1 (3 circuits) 3 minutes of stregth, 2 minutes of cardio, 1 minute of abs. Hope this helps you ladies.

Welcome back!
I do have the RI30 but have not had a chance to use it yet. The best to track calories I found was getting a heart rate monitor watch that tells you how much calories you have burned for it to be accurate, other than that I don't know how you would track it here, b/c like you said Shred was circuit training and easy to track on Sparks.

GOOD LUCK and good job on starting with small goals and working yoru way up.

Maria

Hi people!. I have been a member for quite sometime but haven't really done a JM DVD in over a year. I have NMTZ & 30 Day shred so yeah those are a few years old I started to think I should get a new one. So I did some research and found that what I need now is the RI30 dvd. My goal currently is to lose 15lbs by the end of the year. My overall goal is to lose 30lbs overall but I work at small goal better so this is my first.

Has anyone had good results from this dvd? And how do you track the workout? I know the shred is circuit training would that still be the cause with RI30?

thanks for all the help & motivation.
