Hi PunkyBaby! (you sound cool :D) Hi, all! I am also new, having joined last Tuesday. I joined most of the spark teams suggested to me, and this is one of two that mailed me, and the only group that keeps mailing, so here I am, saying hello!

Hello everyone! My name is Melissa and I just joined Sparks yesterday! Today I signed up for the June challenge. I'm really hoping that by joining this group and doing challenges will help to keep me motivated. Hi everyone! I'm Emily and I'm a 27 yr old stay at home mom to my 5 month old son. When I was pregnant I had gestational diabetes and actually did a really good job controlling it. At 9 months pregnant I was about 5 pounds less than I was right before I was pregnant! But after I had my son I wanted to make up for all those sweets I couldn't eat before. I want to lose 50 pounds and I'm returning to Spark for the third time. The other times I tried I just wasn't motivated enough and only logged in a couple times. I'm hoping that being on a team and doing some challenges will keep me going!

Hello all! My name is Teresa or Teri. I have 4 kids: 13year old boy, 10 (almost 11) year old girl, 9 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. I was actually at my smallest size after I had my first baby...I got down to a size 6. I was still in the military up until the very end of the pregnancy though so maybe that has something to do with it! Anyway, by may of next year going to be about 80 less than I am today.

Hey everyone. My name is Marianne and I am the proud mother of a 5 month old baby girl. I have about 30lbs of baby weight to lose and it has been rough since my husband and I have been in and out of extended stay due to his new job. My treadmill is in storage and until a few weeks ago, so was my workout DVD's and xbox360 kinect workout games. My husband knows I've been struggling and he too has gained some weight due to the new baby and no routine schedule with food and working out. He was the one who found this site for me! emoticon I am excited to go from MOM to WOW! I definately would like to be a WOWWY Mom. emoticon
Since delivering my child 5 months ago, I have been also struggling with PPD and that hasn't helped my self esteem at all. I am hoping that with the help of this site and seeing that other Mommys can do it too, that I will reach my weight loss goal and start living a healthier lifestyle. emoticon

Hi, I'm Sam. I joined this team a couple months ago but haven't been involved. I have 2 beautiful girls aged 2 and 3. I am a SAHM who find losing weight to be really hard. Hi, I'm new to this team and sparkpeople as well. I am a 35 years old. I have seven children. My youngest is 7 months old and I really want to get back into shape. I lost some of the weight after my first two children, but with having my children close together I just never really lost all of the weight I gained with each pregnancy. It has really added up after seven children. I know that a lot of it comes from emotional eating and I want to change that.
I really want to lose this old baby weight so I can be the best mom I can be.

Hi there, im in my mid 20s, wife and mother of 3. Due to having my children close together i just seemed to have gained weight pre pregnancy, pregnancy and partum pregnancy from emotional eating. Each pregnancy mind you was different. 1st a son i had preclamsia which lead me to gain massive amount of weight, in first trimester i had gained 30kg/66lbs which i never seem to have gotten rid of. 2nd a daughter who was born 1 month earlier. And felt pregnant soon after her birth a son. I had them 2005, 2006, and 2007. It wasn't how i planned it but i guess we were over fertile being young and such. Now all 3 are in school, i have the time for me , the time to loose this weight once and for all. I joined spark after my first was born but pregnancy number 2 and 3 made me stop. So hopefully no miss haps now and i can continue on my weight loss. I have a contriception implant so i won't fall pregnant any time soon :) had it done after my 3rd so far no more babies which is good news. So hopefully i can get back to looking great. I don't expect to go to the weight i was when hubby first met me but close to it will make me happy enough. Just so i have more energy for my growing children.

I believe

Start Weight: 116.5kg

1st Weight goal is for Weight 10% : 104.9 kg

2nd Weight goal is for : 100kg

3rd weight goal is for loosing Weight 20% : 93.2 kg

4th weight goal is for loosing weight 30% : 81.5 kg

5th weight goal is for loose weight 40% 69.9 kg

Goal Weight: 65 kg

Hi All! I'm Camilla, mom of two. My son is 3 and daughter 7 months. The baby weight just fell off after my son's birth and I assumed the same would happen after my daughter was born, especially since I was super active all through her pregnancy. I was pretty horrified to see that at 3 months post partum I was still at my high pregnancy weight! Yikes - so I've lost about 13 lbs of that and I'm just really looking forward to making some progress and getting back in shape to enjoy the summer activities.

*I used SP back in 2006 after my wedding and am just now coming back. I haven't updated my page yet so in case anyone is looking around and wondering, that is what's up :) *

Hello! I am a 27 year old mommy of two. My daughter is 7 years old and my son is 7 weeks old. I am ready to loose the last 10 pounds of newly baby weight plus 15 pounds of baby weight that I gained with my daughter and never lost. Today is my first week completed of the P90X program and I have also started the Couch25K program as well. I am trying to eat a high protein diet but stay in a low fat range due to some stomach health problems. I feel extremely motivated this time around and I hope it stays that way!

Hi, I'm Kristina! I'm a twenty seven year old mother of two young children. My husband is in the Navy and has been deployed overseas for fifteen months now. After my first child, I kind of (okay REALLY) let myself go physically, but got VERY motivated to lose weight and be healthy so that I can be the very best mom and wife I can be. I'm new to spark, but I hit the ground running eight months ago after having my second daughter! To date, I've lost sixty pounds, run three times a week, and attend and LOVE a bootcamp class in my area twice a week. Now, I'm more concerned with toning, losing just a few more pounds, and building up my endurance to run a half marathon in October.

Super excited to join this team! It is a huge struggle to try to take care of yourself when you are taking care of your kids. I am not married so it's just me and my two boys ages 16 and 9. Emotionally my 16 year old is really draining me so I have decided to be a lot more selfish these days and take care of myself first so I have more mental energy to try and keep him in line : ) I am actually starting to look forward to my workouts which is the best thing that I can ask for right now. Greetings Everyone!

My name is Chrissi and I'm the Hot Mama of 2 boys ages 7 and 4. They are so active and lively and I want to keep up with them at the park this summer! LOL

I am 32 years of age and as of this week weigh 244 pounds (down 3.5 pounds in 5 weeks). The first time I brought a scale home (5 weeks ago) and got on, my oldest asked me what it was for. I told him it was to help mommy keep track of how much she weighs. He didn't miss a beat and said "Because you want to weigh less and be a bit skinnier right mom?" I told him yes, that was true, but my weight was not going to be the only thing I used to measure how healthy I am. He watched me pull out my cloth tape measure and measure my arms, bust, waist, hips, thighs and calves and I think he understands.

He and his brother love playing with my resistance band and try to see how strong they are with it! It's funny to see them try to stretch it as far as their little arms can reach! I'd rather share the resistance band with them than my free weights - at least if they drop the band it won't break their toes!

I want my kids and my husband to be as proud of me as I am of myself and I pray that they follow my example themselves and think about what they eat and how much we all play.

Hi! I am a 39 new mother of 1. A beautiful daughter who is 9 mo old now. I would love to get back to shape and look even better after baby. I have lost a ton of my weight, thanks to nursing but I haven't been motivated or to BE Real haven't had time to just work out with the baby. I don't understand how people do it when they have a baby full time? I try to sometimes get some crunches in when we do tummy time but that isn't consistant..... Looking forward for some support and advice on what to do when your at home and cannot seem to find time to exercise with a little one. Would love to lose those last 10 lbs and maybe more, and get my waist back to normal again.....

Hi! I am a 33 yr old mother of three beautiful children. 4, 3 and 1. I have had a crazy year. I suffered a rare complication during delivery of my last baby which almost killed me. I was in a coma for a week and in the hospital a total of 2 weeks. I returned home with a lots of physical therapy and cognitive therapy. I am doing great now but during my recovery I have gained a lot. I have had ups and downs during this journey to try to lose the weight. I had 4 abdominal surgeries during the first 4 day after the delivery of my youngest which as left my abs very weak, though they are stronger then they were at first I still wish they were even stronger. I am excited about being accountable to someone for my progression. Thank you everyone for being there wanting to support each other!!

Hey everyone. My name is Brooke and I'm a 29 y.o. mommy of three. My son is 4, and my girls are 3 and 1. Long story short, after a few moves across the country, and three children, I'm overweight and in DESPERATE need to lose weight! My husband still thinks I'm good looking, but I wanna be HOT for him... in addition to just simply being healthy for me and my kids. They will be real active in sports in the upcoming years and I don't want this weight on this body at that time.. I need real motivation and encouragement as eating unhealthy has become a bad habit for years. Also, I've been a real loaf and need some good ideas of getting back on the track of exercise when it hasn't even been a thought in years.. HELP someone! Hi! I am 23 years old, been married for 4 years, and have two girls: 3 years and 4 months. I am primarily a SAHM mom but I work part time April-October nights at a local ice cream store. I also tutor online Math and Essay Writing.

I have had a long battle with different eating disorders and depression, and this is the first time in my life that I feel good mentally and physically and am losing weight healthily :-)

With my first I gained 50 pounds and only lost and kept off about 20. With my second I only gained 30 pounds and lost that in 2.5 months. Now, I am working on getting off at least some of what I gained with my first.

Nine months pregnant with my second I was 175. I have gotten down to 142 but then gained three back and am stalled out at 145. I have managed to make daily exercise a part of my routine but have a lot of trouble controlling what I eat while still being healthy about it.

I am hoping to lose 20 pounds by the end of the year and be at 125.

Hi. I am 32 years oldmother of a 3 year old girl and a 7 month old boy. I work full time and as you can imagine I have my day full with chores. I work in a wellness facility where sometimes I try to exercise at least 3 times a week. I am from Mexico,I moved to the US 8 years ago and since then I've gain some pounds and learned bad eating habits. My goal is to get back to the weight I was when I first move to the US by my birthday in December. I have a hard time staying motivated. Around Valentine's Day, I started exercising via elliptical & treadmill & started watching my diet. I have lost 15 pounds and just need a little help staying motivated. Hello everyone! I'm a 29 year old mother of one crazy child. She is two and a half and is the light of my life. After having her, I haven't been able to commit to the weight loss. I came very close to pre-pregnancy weight last spring, and life got too busy to keep up with a healthy lifestyle. Instead of getting back in the groove when I could, I went off the deep end and have gained 20 lbs in the past year!!!

Howdy, all! I just joined the team -- this looks like a fantastic group! I'm a full-time working mommy of a beautiful 22-month old little boy, and I have LOVED what Spark has done for me. When my son was born, I lost the "baby weight" pretty quickly [thanks to nursing!] but the flab was killing me. I still have a ways to go, but since joining Spark I've lost 15lbs and feel absolutely fantastic! I look forward to meeting everyone!

Hey there! I'm a mommy of one 3.5 month old and really excited to start shedding the baby weight. I can't wait to be back to wowwy. I have been a spark member since 2006 and have lost 80lbs only to gain it back. So here I go again. YAY!

Hello all. I am the proud mommy to a very active 7 year old boy. I am using Spark People to help me stay motivated and on target. I have found that I need to constantly switch it up and stay fresh in order for me to see results. I am looking forward to the daily/monthly challenges from this team and to meet some fantastice people that I can motivated and that can keep me motivated.

Hello ladies! New to the team, but not to Spark. I have just returned to SP in an effort to lose the weight that I gained with my pregnancy. I have two beautiful children, a spirited three year-old boy and darling five month-old baby girl. I am looking forward to being an active participant of this team! From what I've seen thus far, this is a great place come motivation!

Hello All. Was cruising through spark pages the other day and ran across this team. Since I am a MOMMY, of two, and working on my WOWWY emoticon , I thought I would join. I am not new to spark, been here since last January 2010 but have been motivated more than ever as of December 2010. It took me forever to get mentally ready and sick and tired of carrying this weight around to do something about it. I need all of the help that I can get from anyone. I've been doing a boot camp at my gym for about a month now twice a week. I love the challenge. I must be crazy or tired of being overweight but I look forward to going to boot camp class. feel free to stop by my page with any ideas that can help me. Thank you SP friends.

Hi I'm Emily I'm not new to SP (it helped me look FAB for my wedding day) but I need to get back into it and need motivation more than anything. My daughter is 19 months old and although I lost all of my baby weight (and a bit more) I suffered from severe postpartum depression and the meds made me gain over 25# in TWO months. Not fun. So now I'm off those meds and trying to manage the PPD while also trying to lose weight. I need to lose about 50# before I can get pregnant again :(

I'm really struggling with making time in and finding energy to go exercise! Looking forward to losing with you all!

I'm new to this team as well! I've used spark for over 4 years and met my goal of 115 here before...now I'm back to lose this baby weight!

I had a beautiful home birth six weeks ago that brought my first child, Noah, into this world! I'm ready to get my body back!!

I am new to this team and to spark people! I am also a new first time mommy:) I have a perfect 3 month old baby boy. I am very motivated and have been working out and dieting for about a month so far(I have about 35 pounds to lose). I just want to make sure I stay motivated! Good luck to everyone!!

I am 31 years old. I have 6 children. My youngest is 4 months old and I am really ready to get back into shape. Right now I am at 193 lbs. After my 3rd child I got back down to 132. I felt so good. Then with my next 3, I never got back down there. I kept going up higher and higher. It is time for me to get healthy again! I became a member of Spark People in 2006. I never really used it though. Now I am at a point in my life where I am ready for a real change.

Hi! I am the stay at home Mom to two beautiful boys ages 6yrs and 18mo. I love being at home with my boys but I am sick of feeling so tired and cranky.

Hello all! I'm not new to SP but I'm new to being a mom. I'm a first time mom. I had my child on January 4th. I gained about 50lbs during my pregnancy and prior to that I had to lose at least 20-30lbs. I've since lost 31 lbs of pregnancy weight and still have 29 more to go in addition to another 20-30 from my pre-pregnancy days. I'm currently nursing my daughter and have been doing the Insanity workouts. I'm hoping I can jump right in here with the Spring Bootcamp workouts too.
