Welcome to the team! I also have an elderly cat (19), Grumpy. He and his sister Mimi were born in a barn to a feral cat who died, and they were rescued by the people who owned the barn. When we got them, they were small enough to comfortably sleep in a shoe. Sadly Mimi passed away last month. Grumpy has always enjoyed human companionship and right now he is a bit cuddlier than before. He also likes to hang out with the dog.

I hope you'll stick around - good luck in meeting your goals, and remember, you'll always get support and motivation here.

welcome Anne. I and my Manx cats (and 1 Egyptian Mau) welcome you. BTW, I've learned to do Pilates while blow drying my cats so they are helping me to exercise (in addition to the exercise I get chasing them around when they are looking for trouble lol).

Zico and I are glad to have you aboard. He is approx. 11 years old. I got him last August from a home with 47 cats, many of them feral. Zico is my closest friend.

Hi I am Anne and I live in England with my husband and a 15 year old rescue cat called Zed. Since my children have left home Zed has my husband and I under his paw. He has had thyroid trouble for the past three years and has periods when he has been very ill, I think he has used up all of his 9 lives. Have managed to loose a little weight over the last month with sp so feeling pleased.
