There is no minimum amount of carbs your body needs for optimum health.

It would help to know if you are eating too many or too few. For some people, as @JUSTEATREALFOOD pointed out, the carb range may be too high. If you focus your carbs on healthy things like fruits and vegetables and whole grains, you should be fine. If you are eating tons of bread, cookies, and cake, you will be eating too much.

Fruits and vegetables are usually great first choices for carbs. Whole grains and nuts also have carbs.
Beyond that, what are your calorie ranges and what are your carb ranges? It's not uncommon for people to manage to accidentally manually change them when starting out. So not being able to reach 100 carbs while eating 1350 calories is a little different than not being able to reach 300 carbs.

-google first. ask questions later.

If you are finding you are below the recommended SP minimum, and you are concerned, then eating a banana, potato or Rice will increase it. However if you do that, and you were already reaching the calorie range given, then you MAY need to reduce a protein rich food or fat content, working on an unhealthier fat first, to stay within the range.

Which carb numbers are you having trouble fulfilling?
Are you not meeting them or are you exceeding them?

Your doctor's recommendation?
Keto recommendations?
Spark People suggestions?

My answer will vary based on the answers.

IMO this site (and most governments) recommend too many carbs. If you are eating a healthy diet and getting all your essential nutrients then don’t worry about hitting numbers.

My tracker says I should eat between 204-351 grams of carbs today. That’s a lot!
