@SLASALLE I agree with the produce bit. Personally, I am extremely picky about my bananas...they have to be just off green for me to like them. Much riper than that and I am thinking banana bread!

I use the Walmart grocery pick up sometimes and delivery most of the time and I love it! It saves time for me since I work a lot of hours and try to go to the gym after work. It is so much easier to shop online and I can read the nutrition information too. Plus I can see exactly how much the total is as I'm shopping so no surprises at the check out counter. :) I can easily remove things from my cart before hitting the buy button. Plus if you do go into the store for like 1 item you forgot and you see something new that you like, you can open the Walmart app and scan the item and add it to your favorites for next time without having to try to do a search for it. :)

My only issue with this is that you do not get to pick your own produce. For example, bananas. Some people like them green, others like them with a few brown spots. Avocados and lettuce come to mind here also.

No need to limit yourself to WalMart... every supermarket in my area offers curbside delivery for free, and home delivery for a small fee.

Yes! I know a lot of people who love the grocery pickup and delivery services offered by places like WalMart and Target. I bet it even helps keep less than healthy options like a gallon or two of ice cream "accidentally" landing in your cart. :-)

After reading today's article on the task of grocery shopping, I decided to share the following:

If you dread shopping, sign up for Walmart pickup if it is available in your area. I have been doing this for 3 years. It is such a convenience and no temptations to buy what you do not need.

Simply, sign up, Login, and start shopping. You set the date and time for pickup. And you can keep a running list of those items that you run out of.

Have a great day, everyone!
