The third harvest of Meadow Mushrooms this week. I’ll dry them for a couple of hours washed whole, then cut up and dry.

There is no bad food, only bad cooks.

It kind of depends on what you're going to do with it... use it a lot to do large batches or just every now and then for smaller batches or something in between. We knew going in that we probably had limited use (peppers, tomatoes, herbs from the garden), so we opted for the cheapest one we could find and so far, so good. OTOH, if you're gonna do a lot of it then my recommendation for a cheaper model may not be good advice because you can spend a lot of money on the higher-end devices. Good luck with what you choose.

I used a harvest made until 5 years ago. I’m guessing it was 20 years old when it quit, served me well.

I replaced it with a larger unit from Cabelas and have been satisfied with it as well.

There is no bad food, only bad cooks.
