Hubby bought it but we never tried it. I am such a sceptic. Some things he gets I do like. Chia seeds come to mind. But so much seems to weigh on peoples hopes for a quick easy fix.

This helps me as a laxative measure. At this point, I cannot take the afternoon dosage due to dealing with the 'trots' the rest of the day and into the night. Can't see it curbing my appetite at all.

As with so many of the weight loss supplements (yes, I have tried too many to count) I feel most of the "success" is the result of the placebo effect. Often the first week or so we will lose a few pounds, but the results fade as time goes on. Perhaps in our desire to see results we are more diligent and "feel" we are less hungry. If these products truly produced the desired effects, none of us would be on this site!

I am not being negative, just have been around the weight loss merry-go-round so long and have hoped for the magic cure/pill as so many of us here and know that there is no magic, just hard work and patience.

Hi KBRYANT17.

I tried Garcinia Cambogia, but a different brand from the one you're using (and I'm afraid I don't remember what that was.) I too felt as though it curbed my appetite a little -- maybe just enough to decline second helpings or mid-afternoon snack cravings. Other than that, I can't say whether it had a major impact beyond the diet and exercise program I was already following. But hey -- being able to say "no" to the junk food around the office because you're not that hungry is a good thing!

I've never tried it personally. From what I've read, it is a natural supplement that has been studied quite a bit and seems to be helpful to some.
If it helps you, I am happy for you and encourage you to continue doing what brings improved health to you.

I tried it as a tea, not a pill. I did lose a few extra pounds but I think it is mostly because it caused loose stools so I shed some extra water weight.

I haven't used it. I understand there can be benefits from it, but there are also some major negatives. I hope you read the below links:

It isn't a vitamin. It is a supplement. If you look at the label, it will have a disclaimer about not curing or treating any diseases.

Yes I tried Garcinia Cambogia. No it didn't do anything.

I would say, keep up the new healthy habits. Lose the Garcinia Cambogia

I called it a vitamin because that's the section it was in - with the actual vitamins. Not in the weight loss section.

I wasn't asking if it was a miracle drug. I was just simply curious if anyone had tried it; get some pros and cons. Clearly, you don't seem to have taken it and only read stuff online. That's cool though. I don't generally believe what is online.

But thanks anyways for the negativity. I'm just gonna take it that you felt that I needed some negativity in my life today.

It is not a vitamin, and it is your diet and exercise that is working.
There is no scientific evidence that is affects weight loss. If there was, we would all be thin!

Has anyone ever tried taking Garcinia Cambogia, along with diet and exercising? I started using it the other day since a few friends gave great reviews of it. I stayed away from the products that were more similar to advertisements. I just bought the $6 bottle of Nature's Best at Walmart.

Just curious to see if anyone has. I've lost 3lbs with it, but I'm not sure if that is from sticking to a 1200 calorie a day diet or if the vitamin works. Though, I will say, it sure does curb my appetite.

Please no backlash or negativity. Unless you've tried the vitamin. I'm just simply wondering about it.
