white chocolate covered oreos. as a kid, my siblings and i scarfed them. my mom now buys us each one at christmas. we cant get rid of them fast enough. they arent horrible but they are not worth the calories

I've learned to love "zoodles," spiralized zucchini and/or yellow summer squash, to be used instead of pasta. It tricks my brain into thinking I've got pasta in my meal. Mixed with other veggies, it's a win/win, too! The meat you see in this photo is ground turkey. SO, to answer the question of what childhood food I don't love anymore, I'd say pasta. I just don't desire it at all.

I used to love peas and now I never find myself buying them when I'm out shopping. There also foods I can no longer enjoy due to heartburn/GERD like onions, tomatoes, spicy foods, diet soda( which is probably a good thing), and red meat.
It was russet potatoes, diced and cooked skin-on, mixed with ground beef cooked with onions, a bunch of veggies (sometimes canned, usually frozen) like peas, carrots, etc., then the "sauce" was canned beef vegetable soup, undiluted.
It was called "favorite hotdish" because we all loved it as kids. My dad would just add more potatoes if we had people coming over.
He made it for my own kids a couple years ago.... and it did NOT taste really good like I remembered! I've become accustomed to fresh veggies, homemade sauces, etc., and the canned soup taste didn't go over very well!
Take life one day at a time - enjoy today before you worry about tomorrow.
Fish sticks & tuna, crab meat and artificial crab meat. Somewhere around age 14, I couldn't stomach anything seafood. Every once in a while I'll get a craving for fish sticks but I think it's more a craving for tartar sauce. LOL
Also, I don't care for white bread any longer. I would much rather have a whole grain or whole wheat anything over enriched white bread.
Jell-O. Fish sticks, tuna. I rarely eat fish, and am going back to strict vegetarian, but I do like mackerel. I loved all fish, and disliked all other meats, as a kid, but fish sticks, and their mock counterparts are no bueno today.

nothing .... I still love all foods I had as a kid... but then in my day it was all home cooking... mom canned foods ... oh I miss my mom's canned peaches .. or pears in the winter... it was like eating them off the tree... We had no fast foods --chinese foods no pizzas ... All wholesome fresh foods... miss that in this fast paced go through the drive thru days... sigh ...

cheese whiz - I used to love it on bread and in celery sticks - not any more
I use real cheese now
miracle whip - I prefer mayonnaise now
dream whip - whipped cream is much better although very high in calories, I try to be careful about the portion, but whipped cream is my kryptonite
jello - I prefer fruit now for dessert
healthy choices have become more tasty to me than the old processed foods

I would say, most processed boxed meals. My mom and dad both worked full time. My poor mom was exhausted all the time and food/nutrition was not the top of her concerns when she got home. So...we lived off of a lot of Hamburger/Tuna Helper, Mrs. Grass' Soup, Tuna Casserole, and those types of meals. I cannot honestly remember the last time I tasted Hamburger/Tuna Helper - maybe in high school and that was RARE by then as my parents had divorced and I was on my own for finding meals. I have had Tuna Casserole since, but I only like it when my mom makes it and I have it MAYBE once every 3-4 years. I can't say for sure, but I assume that I would hate the boxed meals now. I don't have a taste for much processed meals like that. I cannot stand frozen entrees and we used to eat those sometimes too.
If we are getting more specific, I used to love lima beans. I used to pick them out of the frozen mixed veggie bags that we would have sometimes. Hated mixed veggies, loved lima beans. WEIRD. Now I can't stand them. I mean, I would eat them in a mix of other things, but I surely don't seek them out! :D
Sweet drinks were a standard part of every day as a kid - "Tang" (orange flavoured crystals), or Kool-aid (with a full cup of sugar for every quart) as a daily thing, with Pic-a-Pop soft drinks for birthdays ( www.cdngb.org/index.php/picapop/history ) --- and ooohhh, we felt so grown-up when we were allowed an occasional Pepsi or 7-Up (very special occasions only - too expensive to waste on us kids). Canada Dry Ginger Ale was a sure sign of illness in the house... Summertime was all about homemade popsicles made with either the Tang or the Kool-aid.
Now, I can't even imagine it! I can manage an 8:1 water:clear fruit juice ratio when I need the calories when allowed no solid foods for medical reasons, but anything more than that tastes far too sweet to swallow...
Canned fruits were another standard - and my Mom fell victim to the 70's craze of adding all of them to flavoured Jell-o, putting it in a mold, and calling it "jellied salad". I liked the orange with canned mandarin orange slices in it, and the lime with canned pears in it --- and even straight Jell-o was a big deal! Those were special holiday meal treats, and I remember really looking forward to them. Again - too sweet to swallow now.
I always loved the standard Hallowe'en candy chocolates when I was little - the little "bars" of sweetness. I quit those in adolescence, though - when I discovered good quality dark chocolate and fell in love with the bitter smoothness instead.
Most of what I considered a special treat as a kid were super-sweetened and ultra processed --- and those definitely don't suit my preferences now!
My day-to-day absolute childhood favourites are still way up there on my list, though: sugar snap peas, carrots, rhubarb, cucumbers, and tomatoes washed under the garden hose and eaten while still standing in the garden where I picked them... My Mom's homemade butter tarts (frighteningly sweet, but incredible when frozen - I am hoarding some in my freezer right now)... Pirozhki stuffed with sauerkraut... Now I'm feeling both nostalgic and hungry!
