"Apparently it thinks a less than sign is HTML code."
Probably because it IS HTML code!

I've tried to post here 4 times now and keep getting a No HTML please message. Apparently it thinks a less than sign is HTML code.

FDA rounding rules say 0.49g or less per serving and the label will say 0g.
0.5g to 0.99g will state less than 1g. 1g or more, the label will round to the nearest whole g.

Yes, if the amount of dextrose per serving is less than 1 whole gram, they can legally put 0g of sugar per serving on the label.

A pure sugar packet, if it has less than 1g of sugar, can put 0g of sugar.

Because you can't just paste a link in the text box. On the top right of the box that you type in the third blue button from the left is
Add a Link
click that button and paste your text in the pop up and hit submit and your link will show up in the text body.

How are you able to post a link in your message? This stupid message board gives me a "No Links Please" error every time I try to post a message with a URL.

All of the images that I can find of the label for Olivia Marinated Butterfly Shrimp show it with 4g of carb: 1g of fibre and 3g of sugar. For example: comfort.to/products/frozen-olivia-marinate
d-butterfly-shrimp-16-20

This label seems to have the nutritional information match the ingredients.

There's a loophole in there somewhere. If it contains less than 5 grams or something like that. It can say 0 grams.

"Can a food containing dextrose have 0 g of sugar? "
Yes, because of rounding.
Google can tell you more.

This product's nutrition label says that it contains 0 g of sugar. However it's ingredient list shows that dextrose is the fourth most abundant ingredient. Is the nutrition label wrong? Is this false advertising if it really dose contain dextrose?

Note: I'm not allowed to post an image of the nutrition label. I keep getting a "no links allowed" error. It's very frustrating the the "add an image" button is apparently a trap.

The product in question is Olivia Marinated Butterfly Shrimp. Its sold at Costco.
