Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.
I was told by a friend of mine that is a personal trainer you should only weigh yourself 2 times a month if you have a lot of weight to lose. if you weigh yourself more the stress of the scale not going down as fast you want will make you want to give up.

I am a monthly weigher. I have been on my journey for 3+ years and am about 12 pounds from goal. It had been extremely frustrating for me to not see a change during the weekly weigh ins. So I decided to opt for a monthly weigh in and let NSV’s and my clothing be a gauge during the month to keep me on track. I am now much more relaxed about the scale than I was when I began my journey.
When I hit maintenance I only plan to weigh in monthly to make sure I am staying within 5 pounds of my goal weight, so I just got a head start on it.
Being positive is a choice. My Mantra: “Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day." Each morning seek the positive and you will have a good day. Always remember, “Your only competition is YOU.”
I weigh myself every day. When all these places and articles said toss the scale.. When I did I went from 110 to 198 . I feel more in control when I weigh daily .. I can tell when I have water weight building . if I need to watch my portions better if its creeping up on the scale. So daily for me . I prefer it .. once a week is a no go too. I guess it is by preference. but I now weigh 168 since I have gone back to daily weighing. for me its better that way every day.
Lately, it has been once per day. Sometimes I jump on a second time in the afternoon/evening, but I don't pay attention to that number. I only want the number first thing in the morning, after I urinate, when I'm naked before I eat/drink anything or shower (my hair, when long, can hold an extra POUND of water before it dries - crazy, right?).
I weigh all throughout the day, every time I pass the scale. Been doing that for years... I feel it gives me a better picture of exactly what's going on. So if I see a number that's higher or lower than usual, I know something has changed & it's time to log again.
