As you are just beginning, it’s better to start slow. Maybe every other day for a week or 2 increasing time slowly. Maybe add 1minute each week.. let your body be your guide. Will take awhile to build strength and stamina.

I got an elliptical for xmas. It is the stair stepper kind. I love it, but I can barely do it! So far the longest I have been able to do it is 4 minutes at a time on the easiest setting, and I can REALLY feel it. lol

My question is, should I give myself a rest day in order to recover after pushing myself like that? Should I do 3 days on, one day off? Just want to give myself the best opportunity to progress with this.

Thanks in advance for your help.....
