Shoveled 4 onches of snow off 180 feet of sidewalk. Shoveled edge to edge manually. It was exercise and a workout but I do not add everyday chores to my fitness minutes.


It is called WORK-ing out for a reason.

I said getting fit was simple, I did not say it was easy.

Cardio burns calories, strength work burns fat.

Eat well to lose weight, exercise to get fit

You can not build a six pack using twelve packs


Often when we seek a magic bullet for fitness we end up shooting ourselves in the foot.

walked 5 miles and ran up and down the stairs for 10 minutes. I know, sad... but it saves me money from the gym... ;)

2. Take a short break, then do everything backwards. Round 5 to Round 1.

Yes, I did a 3 mile walk after working 12 hour last night. After getting some rest I went to the gym and workout on the treadmill, elliptical, stationery bike and strength training. I'm looking forward to a good nights rest.

Progress may be slow, but it happens!
No such thing as last place only finishers.

Yes, but I can't figure out how to track it! I do ActiveTrax workouts at the YMCA, but the machines are not listed in the exercise list, and the mention of working out at the Y on the fitness page is not a button to choose their exercise machines. Please help.emoticon

Sure did. Went to the gym at 5am. Did 20 mins on the arc trainer, 20 mins on the tredmill fast walking/running, and then about 150 crunches!
