It’s now 2020. Update your antiquated site to include a blocking feature.
We should not have to put our page on private to avoid a handful of rude people.

Hi,

The best way to report those comments is to click the link to report the page or blog as inappropriate (even if that is your own page). You can then include text on your report to direct us to the specific comments you are reporting.

Alternatively, you can send the info to me via SparkMail.

Thank you for responding, Spark_Merlre!

Unfortunately, the bullying usually takes place under the comments section. I know I have received a couple of comments that were unwarranted underneath my own posts, and there is no way to report those.

I know there are many Spark users that feel the same way I do. Right now, our only option is to put our page on “private” which excludes many newcomers from seeing your profile. I’ve always been open to help others that need help, or give advice when asked and privatizing your page complicates that.

Thank you for passing this along, and your help is appreciated!

Hi,

I will pass your suggestion to our team--thanks for your feedback. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to use the Report Inappropriate Post/Page function if someone is really out of line with their comments. We will investigate and take any needed action. We do not want bullies on SparkPeople either!

Hi there. I’ve been a Spark member for almost a decade. It was always positive and supportive. Recently however, I have found there are a few bad apples. Bullies, if you will. No one on Spark should feel taunted, or intimidated by other members. In this day and age, almost every social media app gives you an option to block people. Can we get an update to allow us to block people that are rude, or cruel?
