I think some of those that hang posters on the various feeds and message boards create their own with local software, save it as a JPG or other pic format and post right from their computer. I don't know that for a fact but some of the misspelling and poor spacing I see would indicate that??

Make sure you have requested the desktop site (sounds like you are on the mobile site) through your browser. In Google Chrome, tap on the 3 dots in the upper right corner, then tap the option for desktop site, then go to SparkPeople's website and you should see those options once you do that.

I don't see a text box or anything else that would indicate I can add a photo to my team message board. I can add a link and an emoticon, but no image. It's really important I learn how to do this, please. I'm using the website through Google on my Android phone. Thanks

It's possible they do that or they have saved one on their computer already. They could also be doing it directly from their phone/mobile device's browser. If they are posting it to the Community Feed from our app, there is the option for progress photos and regular photo/images as well. So there are a few different ways they could be doing it, but for the message boards, you would have to be on the regular website and have the photo on your computer OR log into your mobile device's browser for the regular website and do it from there to add a photo from your mobile device.

The photo doesn't have to come from your SparkPage photo section.

So, everyone that posts those inspiration quotes, etc. They snap a picture off the computer, send to their email, download to their computer, and then upload to Spark? Guess I won't be doing that too much then. I'm always afraid to download anything onto my computer for fear of viruses. You don't need to have the photo come from your Spark page photo selection then, right?

To post a photo in a message board post, there is a button just above the text box for Add an Image - click on that and you can then select an image from your computer using the Choose File option, then Upload Now and it will add the info to your post for that image and then you can click on Post Message.

Hope that helps!

I see many posts on the message boards have pictures...family, before/after, cute inspiration quotes, etc. What is the step by step procedure to post pictures on the message board? Thank you.
