I want to eat healthily and exercise because I want to live and active, full life where I don't have to worry about fitting in a seat or having high cholesterol. I want to be a good role model for my future children and ensure that they have a better relationship with food than I did growing up.
Don't wish for it, work for it!
I've quit many diets in the past, but this is a lifestyle and you can't quit life.
My reason is the same as many others, I want to be healthy, and feel well. When I was younger my main thing was to look better, but now, that I have aged & found that it harder to get around with the extra weight. Now I am concerned with my health. God has blessed me with good health all these years, but I have neglected to do my part & now, I feel like I really need to get busy as I would hate to have failing health because I was just too lazy & fat. I have alot of weight to lose, but know this time I will not expect my self to have it all done in a short time & try to keep motivated, that is where I always fail. I need help. Thanks for listening.
It is not only a gift to myself, but it is for others as well. It is for others as an example and inspiration. It is for others, so that I can more fully, and for longer, be there with them. It is for others, so that I can easier on their eyes! Ha ha.
I want to wear a smaller dress at my friends' weddings next year!
"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable." --Helen Keller
I want to be healthy now and in the future. I want to go on long hikes with my very fit, active husband. (Right now I am troubled by knee pain when we walk a lot on rough terrain) I want to be a good influence for my beautiful almost-19 year old daughter.
I do not want the massive amounts of illnesses that come along with getting older and not exercising, it's fun, it gives me energy for the day, I am 24 and am constantly being asked if I am 16 or 17 which people tell me to take as a compliment because I will be grateful about it when I am in my 30's.
I need to eat healthy and get in some exercise daily because it makes me feel so much better. Too much fat or sugar and little or no exercise and I don't feel well. Balance and consistency are key components of a healthy life.

Because it makes me feel good, and because I see the health problems my mom is going through (diabetes, back and knee problems) and it breaks my heart. I see what being just a little overweight and being inactive can result in.
