My dog thinking that my balloon was something he had to protect me from. He barked and growled and carried on and when I tried to pull it down to show him that it was okay he kept jumping up on me and trying to attack it. It was pretty funny to see this big ole pit mix afraid of a balloon. He also growled and refused to go outside the first time he saw snow. Some fierce dog he is.
Thinking that this day last year, Valentine's day, I was broken up with after being cheated on for months, and I couldn't be happier that I ended it. It made me smile thinking of how far I have come and have much further I am going to go. Vday will always be that reminder for me, and no one can take that away! (plus my little puppy!)
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
