To be honest I do not have a car because I usually rent one if I need to go somewhere. Though I usulally rent the one and only range rover vogue HSE realcar.nyc/rent-a-range-rover-vogue-hse here since it turned out to be the most comfortable pick for me for quite some time now.

2005 Nisan Altima...Running okay...Will junk it when major repairs such as a new transmission are needed.

BTY..This a sham? Recently, I took the car for the annual state mandated vehicle inspection. The garage repairman asked if I just wanted to pay the $35 for the sticker. I wonder how often this is done, and isn't some paper trail required proving that the vehicle was actually inspected?

I had a 2008 Toyota Matrix. My one and only new car of my life (so far). It is basically a Corolla hatchback. It came with whatever standard safety they have, all I know is there were airbags for both front seat passengers. Nice little car. Ran great, had some get up and go. Never had to do anything to it except have the oil (and tires) changed.

I made the last payment in early 2013, gave it to my daughter (her first car) and retired to the Philippines. No car now, and no plan to get one.

I drive a 2015 Dodge Durango.
It is great for hauling things, and is comfortable for my tall family to ride in.
It also handles snow very well!

2005 Honda civic. Basic basic features! No automatic Windows or locks! Last of Hondas without such features. It has a Radio and CD player. I cannot imagine buying a new car that has touchscreen radio...or like the latest that need a subscription service to Spotify or similar apps. Call me old school but I enjoy the simple things that don't require me to take my eyes off the road so much....that and I really enjoy my CDs that I've collected throughout the years.

My car just turned over the 100,000 mile mark. It's been a great little car for me and I plan to drive it for many more years and miles to come.

2015 Chevy Spark. 1st new car I've ever purchased. It is a hatchback with manual transmission (which is the primary reason I bought it -- stick shifts are becoming increasingly hard to find.) I don't know much about its safety features (that's very low on my list of priorities.) I do know it has airbags, came with OnStar (which I deactivated), and doors that lock automatically as soon as I shift into 1st gear -- something that annoys the hell out of me because I then have to push the button to UNLOCK them. It also has a touch-screen radio which I dislike because controlling it requires me to momentarily take my eyes off the road 0-- which to me is a hazard. Other than those minor annoyances, it's a GREAT little car; reliable, economical, and handles beautifully. My dream car, however, is a 1991 Mazda Miata (red, of course!)

We have a 1992 Chrysler. When we got it 5 years ago-- we got it from my mother-in-law. She only drove it to the grocery store. It had 28,000 miles on it. We drove it to Playa del Carmen, Q.R., Mexico where we have retired. That was an 1800 mile trip from Dallas. We are still driving it down here.

I have a 2010 Kia Soul + that I bought used in 2016 with 93k on it. I now have around 125k miles on. I don't have any unique safety features, just the usual modern ones. I like that the rear seats can be laid flat and I have a hatchback. I can load a good amount of stuff back there.

Especially if it's a compact hatchback.

What safety features do you have?

Also has anyone driven a CVT transmission? How is it different from Automatic?
