Drinking fruit infused water can be good. If you like it and it helps. I prefer my water cold and without flavor. To each their own. Cucumber bloats me, but I love it!

I stand by my original statement about your kidneys and liver. They work fine on their own I didn't think you were stupid. I used to buy into detoxes and detox claims.

I also wouldn't put much stock in Women's World. With their titled like "Lose One Pound a Day on Our Bone Broth Diet"

You're going to believe what you want, but detox isn't necessary. Nor does it work. You are usually just shelling out a lot of money for cascara segrada, a known laxative.

I guess if you want to believe detox water works, that is your prerogative, however there are many well qualified people who can and will tell you that they don't work.

I guess "Detox Water" made from soaking cucumber, strawberries or whatever may improve the taste for those who don't like plain water, and in doing so means that the consumer may actually drink more water. If this helps to wean a person off sodas or other manufactured drinks, or increases their otherwise very low consumption of fluids, that's good, but bottom line is that detox water (and diets) don't actually work re 'detox' the body does that all by itself, exactly as it's designed to do.

I would not consider Dr. Oz or Woman's World to be reputable sources of information.

Sorry about that,

I am trained in the health professions, and my branch is notorious for using detox incorrectly.

Drinking more water assists the body in doing its job. There’s no magic to the addition of fruit and herbs as far as cleaning up your own cellular debris goes.

But if it helps you drink more water and less carbonated death in a bottle, rock on with your bad self.

I use cucumber, which gets out belly bloat.

I refuse to discuss this any further.

I am not stupid.

It is okay to like fruit infused water!
But they do not remove toxins from your body.

No. I do NOT need a doctor.

I hate water. The detox water, is also called Spa Water and Fruit Infused water.

My organs are perfectly good.

I drink a ton more water than ever, barely having any cola at all. To me, I have been weened off of unhealthy cola and drinking more water, which is a detox to me.

I disagree with both of you.

Your liver and kidneys are built to detox your body. If for some reason those organs aren't working optimally. Then you have bigger problems than detox water can solve. You need a doctor.

It's great if the water tastes good and helps you stay well-hydrated (assuming it's naturally infused with fruit and not other strange ingredients), but it's not really going to "detox" your body. Your body is already very efficient at removing toxins on it's own :)

There are so many, I do not have the time to post all.

However, I have been drinking "detox water" for quite a few days and feel so much better!

You are not going to be disappointed!
