Chocolate chip brownies - Yum! Thanks, Tracy - hope the sprain is better soon.

It's getting close to dinner time here, and I think I'd like lobster tail with drawn butter and lemon, with some rice pilaf and biscuits. I'll have a glass of pinot grigio with that.

Then, for dessert... more brownies would be good! With a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Linda,

The chocolate cows at the cyberdairy are more than happy to provide chocolate milk for your shake! Isn't that where our parents told us that chocolate milk came from?

I'm going to join you on the cheeseburger and curly fries........plus onion rings!

Sorry about your toe, Tracy!

It's a beautiful day out! I love the cybercafe because I can sit outside and smell the honeysuckle without any allergic reaction! (Do you think my neighbor would notice if I sprayed roundup on his honeysuckle?)

I'd like a cheeseburger and curly fries with a chocolate milkshake, please.

Is Victor still around? I want a shoulder and foot massage (easy on the toe that I sprained) and then I want a double strawberry margarita poolside. I'm still so mad about my foot! One wrong step and I'm off my game for over a week.. uggh!

Choowy, the spa treatment sounds perfect. I think I'll have a facial (with Viktor's special cyber-cafe herbal facial treatments), followed by a pedicure. Then, I'll hit the goodie bar and curl up my treats beside the pool for a nice, long read. Perfect day!

Girlfriend! Welcome to the cyberspa! After your leisurely brunch, come and stroll our gardens on the way to the spa. Of course it is warm and sunny enough to lounge by the pool, and then indulge yourself in a treatment at the poolside cabana. Of course Victor will be the masseur.....

You can select from the spa menu of various soothing facials, massages and salon treatments. There will be a dessert bar in the common room for afternoon snacks......this is the cybercafe after all, so our spa serves decadent, calorie free treats.......

There are couples massages available, as well as summer tune ups for men.........(trying to lure Aldy out from the man cave.....)

Good morning all! This place looks beautiful and spring-like today, Choowy! Which is just perfect because it's cold and very rainy where I live. I'll just pull up a recliner in the warm sun and enjoy the view of the farm and of all the beautiful flowers. Since I was out early this morning and got cold and wet, I'll have a big, warming brunch. I'd like some ham strata with home fried potatoes (peppers and onions in those, please), along with a couple of warm cinnamon buns. I'll have a large hot chocolate with that, too, please.

Ah... this is the life!

Linda really knows how to get her relax on here at the cafe.....very clever, those earphones!

We have a full crew out sprucing up the landscaping around the grounds and the farm.....getting ready for Mother's Day........Mrs. marley and the kids are trimming (eating) the weeds and brambles, while Cinnamon Bun and the baby lambs are scampering about. I've just hung flower baskets all along the perimeter of the terrace........the flower beds are bountiful.....
We've just planted the organic herb and veggie garden for the cafe....ahhhhhh.....it's coming along nicely!

Francois has been planning a wonderful Mother's Day brunch that mwill be available next Saturday and Sunday! Hope to see you all there....all Moms will get a fresh long stemmed rose!

Love these special earphones--I can watch the fireworks and it doesn't hurt my ears! The best is being able to just lie the recliner back and watch the show. Great weekend with terrific food all weekend long! The hot chocolate is the best.

Cinco de Mayo is wrapping up at the cybercafe......

After dark, please stay around for the fireworks show over the pool and terrace. Enjoy the margaritas, and late night snacks....then pull up a recliner and enjoy the stargazing and nightcaps (like Mexican hot chocolate) with some of the irregular regulars here at the cafe.

Buenos dias, y'all!

There are some great breakfast orders coming in this morning! Francois and Igor are busy in the kitchen and Viktor is manning the coffee bar.

In honor of Cinco de Mayo I'll have the huevos rancheros with beans, rice, and of course, fresh corn torillas. If I drank coffee, I'd have mine with some chocolate, cinnamon, and cream in honor of the holiday, but I don't actually like coffee. (It always smells so good, but tastes so bad to me!)

Instead, I'll have a tall glass of horchata, over ice. This is a Mexican drink made with rice powder, ground almonds, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla. I've never had it, but always wanted to try it. Here's the recipe:

www.food.com/recipe/horchata-mexican-break
fast-drink-234509

Later today, Francois is planning a feast. Your favorite Mexican dishes will be available, but his special offering will be tacos Guadalajara style. They'll feature grilled meat with onions and cilantro, on soft corn torillas with a side rice and beans. He'll also be offering Baja tacos with grilled fish, finely shredded cabbage, and a tangy sauce. There'll be a side bar with freshly made salsas (including my favorite, tomatilla salsa), homemade crema, queso, guacamole, and chips. And, of course pitchers of margaritas and coolers of Mexican cervezas.

Fiesta time!

Here are Zzyyggy's beef burritos - my, look at her go on the dance floor. I never knew wolves could conga!

Here is your moose meat taco and enchilada platter, Aldy. North-of-the-border meat in a south-of-the-border entree. That's what I call international.

Now where did that pitcher of margaritas go?

Great main entree suggestions for Cinco de Mayo weekend, Linda! We'll be serving up all of those at a buffet, plus arroz con pollo, chile verde, enchiladas too.

So pull up a lounger at poolside, order a tall cool one and enjoy our complimentary chips and fresh guacamole. Here's a recipe of mine that disappears in no time!

2 ripe avocados (Haas brand)
2 t. lemon or lime juice
2 T. sour cream
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c. white onion or green onion, minced
1 Roma tomato, chopped, optional
2 t. jalapenos, seeded and minced, optional
1/2 t. garlic powder, or to taste
1/2 t. Johnny’s seasoning salt, or to taste

Peel, pit and coarsely chop avocados. Add lemon juice to avocados to preserve their fresh color. Mash with fork; mix in remaining ingredients. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

I hope some of you will try this at home!
