"I am what I am today because of the choices I made yesterday" — Eleanor Roosevelt
When President Kennedy was shot, when poodle skirts were the rage, when some girls wore pigtails to school if their hair was long enough, when milk got delivered to your doorstep and Dr.s made house calls.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Our black and white TV (there were no color TVs back then)...my mom thought she was being really inventive...she stuck one of those tri-color velum sheets on the screen to make it look like it was in color. LOL I still remember it as if it was yesterday!
Michael Jackson's hair catching fire, 1982 World's Fair...I was 6 and got lost there, very traumatic, when Ronald Mc Donald the clown had a group of friends including a big purple blob named Grimace although I am not sure what Grimace was, oh and the hamburgler and the fry guys...
I remember party line phones, headlight dimmer switches on the floorboard, rabbit ears on the black and white TV, Walter Cronkite on the news, when the Apollo space craft splashed down in the ocean after a mission, and the afternoon when my parents went to vote for Lyndon B. Johnson, after he had finished JFK's term.
