Z is for zippin along!

Seems as if there is an open road for me to do more exercise and eat better. It seems that my time here with Sparks has been a practice time for me to get the eating and the exercising into habits.

In January, I discussed my swimming with the lifeguard and I lowered the amount of laps that I was doing each time that I was there. and increased the amount of visits per week. And my haircut that I got in the fall, I've gone to the same hairdresser and have basically let her do her thing. So, now it's perfectly straight and when I get out of the pool, I'm setting it in curlers, so that takes more time. I'm looking better.

My stomach sticks out as far as it has, and my tush sticks out as far as it has...no change, but at the sides of the stomach, and at the waist band, it's decreasing. I'm getting a payback. Cause I thought it so cool that when I was putting the weight on, my body hid it for a long time, now it's hiding some of the inches lost...payback, I guess....oh well. I'm sorry that I abused my body.

I am having to deal with the extra energy. And it's takiing some doing not to ignore it. I had to sit down more, and now, I don't so I have some extra time to do stuff. It is taking me a bit to learn that I can do some of those things.

Today on the way to swimming, I stopped at the deli and didn't get a donut, got an orange instead. About the same price, they were teasing me there that no matter what the weather could be -40 degrees, I go swimming. And they commented on my eating healthy.

I have a facial cheekbone, probably from the blowing of air while swimming. Great :-)
