Gg is for gratitude.
Behind my arms, where the arm and shoulder meet, not on top, but on the underside right where my underarms start.............IT'S FIRM. I guess all of the paddling about the pool has made a difference. unreal.......Also, yesterday, I had to walk a few blocks and up an incline to get to the job fair.........wasn't winded and kept up with others......it didn't register at first that I could do it......really great! 70821

When I left home at the age of 20 or so, I could have anything there, but mom controlled the food, fresh veggies, low cholesterol, little fried food. Always cookies or pies or cakes, but the reality was that what she made had to be divided between all family members, so it was a small portion, and what we could have more of was the tomatoes, and green peppers and carrots and celery etc.

I didn't have any mechanism in place to control when I stopped eating, when I overate at home it was on the fresh stuff and I remained thin. College--freshman 15--then for a short while during my divorce, stress slimmed down, but didn't realize what was happening~~then---------- a few ounces each month, steadily upward until at 195 felt lousey and the alarm went off in my head that I didn't want to be 200 lbs................

This weight loss thing has been like turning the titanic around from the iceberg.

70924--tried something new over the weekend. I went to an empty soccer field and took the soccer ball in my trunk out. Kicked the ball down and back two or three times. I liked being outside.

My goal is to get to 174. Today I went to a soccer field and kicked the ball back and forth. Walking down a path doesnt work for me. My feet have to be on the earth and i have to be doing something. Like going somewhere and walking is the mode of travel. At the soccer field I could smell the nearby flowers (weeds) and smell the earth, two things that I grew up with and my brain can travel. If I'm on a hard asphalt path, I have to be too concerned about who I will run into if I don't watch. I'm on a pretty tight budget til the first check comes in from the new job, but I'm not buying junk food I bought a big egg plant an part of it went into a salad and the rest I'll bake. I'm not eating out
