I'm a tired girl today, but it was worth staying up past 10:00 last night
The girls started hot in the first quarter and kept the lead the entire game. There were a few moments where it felt like the game might flip, but they got their heads back into it. They play in the semi-final on Friday at 10:00 a.m. School has already been canceled so that anyone that wants to go to the game can go. I think that I'll stay home and watch online - fewer people that way and with the concert tomorrow night I'll be in crash mode anyway.
So, it was a short night of sleep. Mike got up at 4:15, but I managed to doze until 4:45. I wanted to get up a little earlier anyway because I knew that Matthew needed to get up earlier and I like having my workout done before the boys get up. I had my Energize, read my Bible and devotional and did my workout. I got Matthew up and let him take his shower first, then I took my shower.
I got Jacob up a little earlier because I figured that he could try and get some homework done. He ended up staying home again because of this headache. I'm starting to think he's going through a growth spurt or something. I swear he's two inches taller... I had a thought to have him try some Excedrin Migraine and then realized that it wasn't a good idea since he's only 14. He does seem better this afternoon and I pretty much will make him go to school tomorrow. He doesn't have any other symptoms and the concert is tomorrow night.
Since I wasn't having to take him to school I checked in with the choir teacher about AMS. I knew that half of the group was going to be gone, so I wasn't sure what the plan was. She ended up just having me wait to come in for HS Choir and she covered AMS. I will say that HS Choir was interesting with about half of the group gone - some for the Academic Bowl competition (Matthew was in that group) and the rest were because of the game last night.
Once home I really haven't done much. I do have the Lenten Service to play for tonight, so hopefully I can find a burst of energy. I'm thinking it's early to bed.
1. Nutrition: way too snacky. Choir fell during my lunch time so I was starving by the time I got home and just snacked until my lunch was ready.
2. Fitness: 10 Rounds: Boxing Footwork Agility
3. Personal: Read my Bible and devotional; finished one book and started another (I'm trying to finish up my Harlequin Intrigue books - I actually only have a few left!); phone/computer time was okay.
Tomorrow - I have the morning at home, rehearsals at the middle school in the afternoon and the choir concert in the evening. Whew!
