feb 21 2021 looking back at winters long ago

49 years ago we moved from in town of dayton ohio to rural flat country farm house
Little did we know how bad it was going to be living with 45 mile an hour wind our house was built 1900 old windows doors cracks in foundation well water. Having a heard of sheep to bring them water help them birth babies road closures schools closing
the doors would whistle in the wind snow would come into the windows of living room water pipes would freeze no toilet little to no heat it was something we lived with.
the kids managed we just did it????
now windows and doors update. propane heat new water pipes won't burst but can still freeze. I am looking forward today to 25 maybe. Its tuff then throw in covid and restrictions icy roads drifts 2-3 feet in driveway we just manage it
