In The World Of Tag, I'm It

What a last 8 months for me! Heart ablation, lumbar surgery, fractured tooth root and abscess, skin cancer (the aggressive type of basal cell carcinoma in a bad place, my face) and now a hemorraghic cyst on my kidney.
I visited the neurosurgeon yesterday and the CT scan showed my spine is fused! Plus I don't have to wear the back brace any more unless I am in a situation where it is needed for extra support. I will still have to be careful with my back for the rest of the year while the fused bone gets more dense. Happy about that!
I will see the periodontist next week to see how tooth extraction is doing and later will be getting an implant.
Next up is the dermatologist who did Mohs surgery on me. The skin cancer grew very fast. I have had this before and it was not a fast growing type. I learned there are varying degrees of basal cell carcinoma. It was in my cupid's bow area and I will never look the same, although it is not grotesque. I go back to him at the last week of February. If it needs to be "fixed" he will. That means more cutting and it hurts (after the local anisthetic wears off, which is soon after.) I hope to get a tranquilizer before that happens.
So I will now have to call my primary care doctor to see if the cyst is something to worry about or not.
I am happy about the fusing and getting rid of the brace. At least I am getting all of this taken care of while we are socially distancing, mostly. Is it all real? I feel like I am living in the Twilight zone sometimes.
Still I am blessed. There are many who are much worse off than I am. My faith in God has not wavered. I know He will see me through.
