took some time away from Sparkpeople after my vacation in September, i am happy to say that even though i took a break from Sparkpeople i have continued to workout at my local gym and have now lost 37 pounds since August 7th. I figured out that I do not like keeping track of every single thing i eat. i don't think i over eat because i use a small saucer type plate instead of a regular size plate and it doesn't take much to fill me up. i know what i put in my body and its not unhealthy things. my calorie range is 1200-1500 and sometimes i don't think i even eat that much. but it works for me and i feel so good. I have dropped a shirt size and now my most FAVORITE t shirt is now to big on me and I am able to wear my Christian shirts that my church sister made me so i feel really good about that! OH and my pants are too big! I actually need a belt! I would buy more pants but if i'm gonna continue losing weight why spend money on new pants?
For Thanksgiving i don't think i did to bad, i did end up losing two pounds that week and I don't plan on going overboard for Christmas. I haven't had my usual bad things I usually get this time of year, like that box of Chocolate covered cherries that has 10 in a box and i eat the whole box in one day, I haven't even gotten my half gallon of egg nog that is always gone in two days. I have had any kind of Christmas candy, and you know what! i have not had no one tater chip since my vacation! Me and my husband both bought a small bag of doritos each, i love the nocho cheese kind, he loves the cool ranch. i think i ate 4 chips out of that whole bag! It really is good to be back in here but the tracking of food i just don't have any interest...now tracking my workouts that is something i have interest in!!!
