Day 336: Another Lockdown?

Oops, haven't blogged for a few days!



I'm just plugging along over here. It was sooooo nice to get a long weekend! Especially after a super busy couple of work days at the beginning of the week.



We are going to try again on our trip to the mountains, next week. Not ideal timing, since I've got a lot of work stuff scheduled, but it's the only week in December that our friend's cabin is available and we'd really like to get away. Obviously I can work remotely from anywhere, but I would like to get some hikes and down time in! Which I should be able to do, I'll probably just work part days.



Though I'm bracing myself for a possible cancellation again. (We had planned to go the week before Thanksgiving, but Paul's hernia surgery turned out to knock him down more than we had expected). The Governor is indicating that he may put us back into total lockdown if the numbers don't slow down, which is unlikely since so many people went ahead and did big Thanksgiving gatherings (eye roll). Not that we'd really be violating anything by driving up to a cabin and hanging out up there - we wouldn't be going out to restaurants or anything - but if they say total lockdown, don't cross county borders, then we'd have to really consider whether or not we should go.



Well, it's about lunchtime, so I'm going to grab some food before my 1pm zoom. Happy Tuesday, all!
