Day 332: Assessment Time

Well, no workout today...unless you count an hour and a half plus of raking leaves in the front yard!


I am BEAT, that really took it out of me. But now that we have the grocery shopping done, I can crash the rest of the day, pretty much.


Today was weigh-in day and I'm actually down half a lb from last Saturday - not bad for Thanksgiving week, woot! So I'm now at 14.2 lbs total, over 25 weeks. So I guess it took me half a year to lose 14 lbs.


Could be better, could be worse. I feel like a wuss because Paul has lost over 40 lbs since February, LOL! But what I'm happy about is that I feel like I've changed a lot of my eating habits for the better. I've been doing well the past month, no plateaus - I think because I've been hitting the bike pretty hard. Bike rides really seem to burn calories better than walking. Good thing I like biking, though it's a little harder to get motivated on these super cold mornings!


Lots of people around us already have lights and even trees up...we're not quite ready for that. My mother-in-law gave us a swag at Thanksgiving (she makes us one every year), so that's up on the front door, but that's it. We'll go next weekend to get a tree and start getting the place decked out. Which reminds me...last year, for the first time, we paid someone to do our outside lights, and I need to track down his info and see if I can get hold of him.


Well, I think it's about time for me to go crash out with a book. Happy Saturday!
