Hotdogs? Do you boil them??

I don't eat hotdogs. Not for any of the reasons you may think - the spices kill my stomach these days.

However, my little Bubba loves his hotdogs and recently I started boiling the package in a cup of water. (not in the package, I take them out and place them in the pot, lol.)

Being a person who hates to throw "food" out, I decided to try using this hotdog water with my instant potatoes. YUM. So I tried it with minute rice - YUM. Today I tried it with oatmeal and YUM!

Just a thought - if you too boil your hotdogs, you may want to use the broth in cooking.
