Three steps back..

I feel so sorry for my residents. For a little while they were allowed to eat in the dining room. Do activities. As long as they had no symptoms, stayed 6 feet apart and wore a mask. The could sit outside on nice days. Family could visit. Things were starting to somewhat resemble normal around here. Then poof! Back to being isolated in their apartments. Back to eating alone out if Styrofoam containers. No visits from loved ones. And all in time for the holidays. I just feel so bad for them. Who knows how many holidays some of them have left. The staff her tries to lift their spirits but it's not the same.
