It's been a mostly quiet day. I didn't get much sleep last night because I stayed up to watch a very intense football game
Just glad that my team ended up winning (sorry Janet). It took me a little while to get settled down after the game, so I only ended up getting about 5-1/2 hours of sleep. At least I basically slept until the alarm went off. I got up, had my Energize, read my Bible and devotional and did my workout. I took my shower and fixed my breakfast. Matthew actually got up on his own and he ended up getting Jacob up too.
Once they left I got the dishes washed and made the bed. I then called to see if I could get Jacob in to see the doctor today. Thankfully Dr. Piearson had two openings. I took the afternoon opening.
UPS showed up early today with my special order
I've been waiting a year for this book! James Patterson writes so many books, but the Alex Cross books are only released once a year.
I did get a few loads of laundry done before I had to leave. The one thing about today - it decided to start snowing about half an hour before I had to walk out the door. It was big huge flakes! The highway wasn't it great shape, so I was glad that I decided to leave early. I picked up Jacob and we headed to the clinic. The doctor did some manipulation with his foot trying to figure out where the pain was originating from and Jacob did end up having an x-ray to rule out a possible fracture. I got him back to school and came home.
I did finally get the call from the doctor - no fracture, so hallelujah for that - he is supposed to take ibuprofen 3 times a day and rest for 3 days and then we'll go from there. He doesn't know yet. He still went to practice, but he had his note from the doctor saying that he has an injury. I'm curious how that went.
1. Nutrition: okay
2. Fitness: Day 78 - Morning Meltdown 100: Fight Club
3. Personal: Read my Bible and devotional; started my book!; phone/computer time was okay.
Tomorrow - I shouldn't have to go anywhere. I will tackle a little more cleaning, read and might work on my puzzle. I haven't touched it today.
