Well, frack it!

I went to my doctor yesterday to go over my bloodwork results. I woke up with a croupy cough and runny nose, which I attributed to my fall allergies. My doctor decided to err on the side of caution and did the Covid test.
I am now home until I get the results in 3-5 days. I woke up this morning with a sore throat and running a low-grade fever. My doctor prescribed Keflex, which I got today. I have a sneaky feeling that I may have Covid. My senses of smell and taste are less pronounced; I scooped the cat box and didn't smell a thing. I am hoping against hope it's just my allergies and/or a cold.
In the meantime, I'm hunkered down at home with my fur babies. Napping and bingeing on favorite shows. Thank goodness, I have almost two months of PTO time. One less thing I have to worry about.
