Week 1 November Check List

I made one of my goals but had a tad bit of a problem hitting the other two.
I didn't make my step goal or my carb goal. BUT, I managed to stay away from fast food all week. I really wanted Wendy's for lunch on Tuesday when my colleagues ordered take out, I was totally tempted. However, I stuck with the lunch I brought from home. On Friday, my husband wanted pizza. I made beef stew instead with the promise of a pizza from a local pizzeria on Monday of next week. They do a cauliflower crust - (SHHHH. Don't tell my hubby!)
I knew this week's cut back on carbs would be hard, so it may take two weeks instead of just one. That's ok, I set small goals and meet them one at a time. The step goal is the same way. It may take two weeks to hit that one.
Sometimes, we have to give ourselves permission to miss a goal. As a wise person told me once, a goal is not a to do list. It is something to work towards.
