Recognition and Being Dawg of the Day
Monday, October 26, 2020
This morning I went to a funeral. The ones that I went for is a second-family to me. How absolutely awesome to have seen them, and, even though the reason for coming together was sad, what a gift to spend time. It's been since June since we saw each other (and one of the family members didn't recognize me). Then, I come home and open my e-mail to see that I am Dawg of the Day.
I began to type, "I don't deserve these blessings" but life is not fair and no one deserves the blessings we receive or the pain that comes our way. The sun shines on everyone and the rain falls on everyone. Today, I get to feel the joy of the rays of recognition and spend time in gratitude for those that responded today. I really thank you. It does take time to acknowledge one another, and you gave that time to me. It is much appreciated. And now just a bit of humor.
