I just got so overwhelmed

I just couldn't do it. I allowed myself to get overwhelmed and stressed out for a few weeks. I slipped into a bout of depressions. I didn't follow my program, I ate too much, I drank too much and barely coped with each day.
I had an epiphany, went to the doctor, and am now slowly rebuilding my program. I follow the wisdom of my brother-in-law who is an exercise physiologist. He always says to use increments of 10% because it seems simple, manageable, and is a goal that can easily be reached. So, I started tracking to see where my biggest problem is. I am eating way to many sweets and carbs. So, a 10% cut there. So far, I've lost 2 pounds AND I've tossed out all the sweets in the kitchen!
I am now back on the road to being myself again. Wish me luck!
