Time for a blog

I haven't blogged in a while. Been focusing on a challenge I joined. Learning the rules and working to change my behavior. This has been very helpful. I've lost 6 pounds.
We have our daily pandemic-mandated routine, my husband and I. And our 2 kiddies, I mean kitties. We are both working from home right now and sharing an office. The cats take turns snuggling into a low shelf between our two work stations.
I was stressing myself out too much listening to the political pundits and their podcasts. I try to limit that now, though the latest national crisis of the president contracting CoVid has me listening more often. We received our absentee ballots and they are filled out and on their way.
I notice when I do go out that most people I see here on Long Island, NY do not wear masks unless they are required to, as in stores. And they don't maintain social distancing. I have to wonder at their cavalier attitude.
I've been going down to the basement to ride the stationary bike during my 2 10-minute work breaks I have daily. I used to stretch out on the bed on my work from home day and cuddle with our cat, Mia, whom we lost in December. Now all my days are work from home. I have to say that I prefer this. I was chatting with my doctor during a recent checkup, and she was telling me how her 22-year old daughter is struggling working on her laptop in her bedroom. I can understand how this might be for young people. But I am very happy not having to go into the office.
I was going to go out and walk around the condo development after logoff time at 3:30, but it looks like rain. Maybe I will go anyway.
