No time no see! 😁

Hitting the re-set button hard today. My birthday is in a month, & usually I try to do something fun - buy myself something really cool, like an expensive purse, a cool photo op at Comic Con, take a trip, etc.... Well, this pandemic has had me rethink things. And, this year, I decided to focus on me. I have gained so much weight the past few weeks due to stress eating. (Not sure why, since nothing has really changed for me during the pandemic.) But, one should NOT reach for a chocolate bar before bedtime. So, my goal is to lose 10 pounds by the 20th. I really just want my clothes to fit better, & for me to feel better about myself. I have always been overweight, but I have never been negative about my body image. 55ish is around the time my Mother's side of the family started having heart problems. (I am turning 53 next month.) I had a stroke once (7 years to be exact) due to a complication from a pulmonary embolism. I survived, but still have issues occasionally. (Stress is not my friend.) It took me 3 months to be able to go back to work. I don't want to go through that again. My non-scale gift to myself is to purge & get organized. I have no clue how my bedroom turned into an episode of Hoarders, but it's bad. I am still working from home, & just need to set aside a few hours a day to do it. If I can spend over an hour playing Animal Crossing each day, I should be able to find time to purge, clean,...and, walk. Right? 🙂 #mondaymotivation #resetbutton #igotthis #babysteps #minigoal

    I'm trying to drop 20 before Christmas when I see my doctor again. It sure is fast to put on but painfully slow to come back off.
