woo hoo, the weekend is here. NOW WHAT? This how most weekends are when you are retired. I am no longer into the bar scene, hate sports, don't like to shop, could care less about boating, fishing, picnics, etc. so Now What do we do. Mostly same as Monday thur Friday. hahahahaha But this afternoon, we have a drive thru baby shower, 2nd one this year. So you buy a gift, wrap it, and drive to the destination, hand them the gift thru the window, and drive home. But it is a chance to actually see people you love. This baby shower is for a Bonus Grand-daughter that is expecting in Nov. Will be nice to be able to see her, and her family and maybe a chance to visit a few minutes with DIL and maybe son, if he can get away from work long enough to come.
Also will stop at the Pharm. and pick up those pre-meds. It was a good thing I check with the dentist office at 4 yesterday to see if the pharm. had called in a refill order, and NO they hadn't yet. So she said she would take care of it, and in less than a half hour I got the call saying my prescription was ready for pick up. This has happened before when I needed the prescript renewed and they called of dentist office so late they were gone, and my prescript wasn't filled until the day after my dentist appt. Good thing they always keep Amoxicillon(spelling) on hand. Here they had 7 hours to call the office, and here it sat all that time and nothing was done. So I always give them a few hours and then call the dentist to see if it was done. Good thing I did again, or I wouldn't have been able to get pills, again. The medical profession could really use some improving. Should have become a pharmacist, those people have it made, the money just keeps rolling in, and they just charge what ever they can get.
Well, better let you all go, and I had better get ready for my excitement of the week, and when hubby gets up from his nap I am ready to go. So hope you also have a exciting weekend. Tootle do, Mr McGoo. Linda
