It's your choice

Every day I have the privilege of making choices that affect my life. I sometimes get tired of too many choices or not enough good choices, but I personally love having the freedom to make choices. I choose what I wear, what I eat, what healthy regime I follow, what I put in my mouth and the list goes on and on.
Voting gives us a choice or should.
There are some things we do not have a choice on regardless of how we vote, even if we are under the illusion of having the right and those things are governed by God.
God gave us the 10 commandments as those boundaries that affect our choices. We have choices up to a certain line, for our protection. Adam and Eve had choices in the garden but they were told to not eat of a certain tree yet they were greedy and fearful that they were missing out on life and that greed and fear led them to believe the lies Satan was telling them.
Today we in America are doing the same thing. We have been given certain rights by God and boundaries yet we have decided to listen to the lies believing we have more rights than what God himself gave us. "Do NOT Kill". I do not care what you believe, God's command is do not kill. Do not kill people because they are a burden like newborn babies or senior citizens, do not kill because someone is different than you, race, handicap, rich or poor, do not kill because of someone's occupation like police officers, do not kill for any reason.
Adam and Eve were punished and we will be punished. It is possible some of the devastation that we are seeing is a result of God's judgement on us, but regardless if we as a people do not understand the limits of our choices, that God himself put boundaries in place to protect us from ourselves, then we will continue to make choices that hurt our neighbor and ourselves in the long run.
Today - choose to obey Christ - These are His Words Love God with all of your heart mind, soul and body and then love your neighbor as yourself. Mark 12:30-31
