Hard gym day rest day tomorrow

Today the only cardio I did was a mile on the treadmill, I did my mile today with a 10% incline, next Saturday I will bump it up to 15% and so on and so forth I may increase every other week but once I get to 50% I will probably die. LOL I don't want to over do it.

I am starting to see a little change in myself, My calves look a little smaller than they have been,and I cantell they are getting a little more toned. My hubby said as far as my legs he can tell a difference in my ankles. My ankles looked swollen and really big and now he says they are starting to look like normal ankles. I'll take it.

Back on the subject of the scales, My hubby weighed today and the scale said he gained 5 pounds since friday and he eats about 1800 calories a day and I know he burns alot of that off because he works as a landscaper and is out in this hot sun for 9 hours a day sweating and then going to the gym for an hour to hour and a half every day and he weighs about 180, friday he weighed and it showed 179, so now I do not believe that gym scale is right. we are getting a brand new scale for the house this week and I will weigh on it on friday and that should tell me just about on point of where I'm at with this journey. BUt I don't want to focus on the scale.

Today we hit the weights after the treadmill, I did the preacher curl, ab crunch machine, and thensome other machine that works your triceps, then we did kettle bell exercises and then something with a 10 pound medicine ball ( you can laugh here I have no idea what you call what we did with that ball) we tried to jump rope and I failed so bad at that! I could barely do two, and my husband didn't do very good either he could only do 3, in my defense my knees suck and I can't jump!

Tomorrow is CHEAT DAY!!!!! I'm not gonna go over board but I think having a Pepperoni Pizza from Papa Johns is over board! Hubby is going to rest all day tomorrow and if I am up for it I am going to do a workout video at home during my lunch long as my knees will work, today they hurt really bad, wouldn't of been so bad if we didn't walk around the grocery store for an hour and a half after we left the gym.
