I forgot about the hurry up and wait part. 😂

My impatience always gets the better of me as I once again remind myself that lasting change takes time. I don't know why I expect the scale to move every day. I know in my head that it takes time, but I lack patience. I try to remember that it took me a year to lose 52 pounds before. I don't intend to go that low again, but I'm also 10 years older than the last time I did this! I need to stop rushing the plan. Taking shortcuts, i.e. increasing exercise intensity before my body is ready to do so, can get me hurt which will only set me back further. My goal is do-able. I know this. I just need to stick with the plan: tracking nutrition, exercise regularly at reasonable levels, getting more sleep. If I can stick with the plan, I'll be healthier each and every day. Energy levels matter. Clothes getting looser matters. Sleeping better matters. Feeling better matters. The scale only matters a little in the grand scheme of things. Note to Self: if the scale doesn't move soon, buy a new one. It must be broken. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Girl, I SO relate to this blog. I'm sure I've said the exact same things to myself a dozen times. When I started SP, I stopped weighing myself everyday because it would cause so much impatience. It was a struggle at first but I'm SO much happier not stepping on the scale everyday, it allows me to focus on how I FEEL rather than a number. You can do this! Baby steps really do work!
