I hit a roadblock, or so I thought! My son had to be tested for the corona virus. He was not feeling well and had some chest pains. We had been with him a few days prior, so decided we had better self-quarantine for the safety of others, just in case.

So now we play the waiting game. We missed out on the 4th of July golf cart parade going through our community. We missed out on the to go picnic. I missed my water aerobics class. I missed out on pool exercises.

I've had meals and exercise planned for the last 4 days. Now what do I do? Luckily, I have enough food in my freezer for a plan B. I live in a "hot" area so I'm never sure if everything is gong to get closed up again. But the exercise? I'm not big on video's and didn't want to walk because everyone knows me and would stop to talk. I suppose I would have to find a workout video that I liked, but it seems like work. I work out everyday in the pool because it's something I love to do. And what does Spark say? Find something you love to do and it won't seem like a workout.

Day 1: I had already been to my aerobics class. In fact I was at it when I found out about my

Day 2: Strength training: I dug out my dumbbells, which was ok because I really don't mind
strength training.

Day 3: Lucky me. Sunday is my day of rest anyway.

Day 4: Oh boy. What to do. It's my water aerobics day. I'm really missing it. I really didn't
have the heart to do a workout video for 30 minutes. 10 maybe. Then it hit me! My
husband was in the other room playing music. So, yup, I used that as my exercise
today. I danced in my living room! And danced, and danced. What fun! I may just
plan a dance day once a week. And what a workout. Boy did I sweat!

So I will continue to come up with interesting ideas while I continue waiting...…………..

UPDATE: My son called while I was writing this blog. HE'S NEGATIVE! Thank you Jesus!!
Back to the pool!
Oh yeah, and his chest pain is from pulled ligaments due to stress.

There are a whole bunch of dance cardio videos on YouTube that I've found way more fun than the classic "do 15 reps of squats... Etc" type videos. If you haven't already, you should check them out!
