This morning, shortly after 9, I went for some groceries. It was the first time in over a week since I had been to the store. I got most of the things on my list. There was no toilet paper. The cashier told me there had been lots on Saturday.
At noon we picked up some produce from one of the nearby greenhouse growers. I had pre-ordered online at the end of the week and was told where to pick it up. From there, we drove into the city to get gas at Costco. Gas was down to 66.9 per litre. Getting gas was quick. I was glad we didn't plan to into the store. The lineup was along the side of the building. There was quite a wind. It would have been cold standing in the line.
We drove through the Burger King drive through for burgers and then decided to do a drive-by at our son's house. Brian was at work so we called our daughter-in-law to let her know we were in front of the house. She came outside along with our grandson, one of our granddaughter's and our great grandson. They all waved. We know a couple who live near to Brian so we did the same thing. They waved from their window while we talked on the phone. It really brightened our day to see people and know they are okay.
The rest of the day was very ordinary. Himself took a ride to the lake to see the waves but I came inside to continue with my de-cluttering.
Sunday was a nice day. Our granddaughter and her husband had the baby in the back yard for some pictures. This is one of our favourites.
