I have to keep reminding myself that although I can't control outside forces, I can and must control my own reaction to them. I can choose to stress eat or to stick to my food plan. I can choose to sit and despair about current goals, or to work towards new and maybe different goals.
No matter what is going on outside, we still have a choice about how we react to it. The choice is ours - and so are the results of those choices.
