Stress got me!

It was a terrible week for me in that there was chaos all around me. My family had several emergencies to deal with and I was doing my best to help. I had to suspend tracking and cut back on my workouts and cooking in order to manage all the tasks that came my way. All in all I feel lucky to have gotten through it all with only a half pound weight gain. A month ago I would have dealt with the stress by eating comfort foods and been several pounds heavier at the end of it.
I am not out of the woods yet! There are several challenging weeks ahead but I hope it gets easier as I learn to cope by meditation or exercise instead of overeating. We'll see!
The important thing is everyone is OK
