) task for today said to say something positive to everyone I spoke with today.
Since I only saw a few people today it was an easy task for me, and THANK GOODNESS.
I got precious little done today because I'm now so sleep deprived that I feel sick. I tried to take a nap earlier, but unfortunately it didn't work. It's amazing that I can be SO tired and yet not be able to sleep. I mean, how does that even work?
Today was all about baby steps towards my goals. Here's what I accomplished:
1. Got out of bed and got dressed. (Baby steps!)
2. Made it to my job search group and found someone there with a connection to one of the companies with a job I want. Said nice things to people.
3. Applied to a job.
4. Bought a butternut squash and roasted it. Actually, I bought a few nutritious easy-to-digest foods today. Not sleeping and being stressed has destroyed my digestive system.
5. Keeping my promise to blog today.
And that's sadly all the good there is. I didn't meet my protein or water goals for today. It's close to bedtime and I'm only at 6,600 steps. I'm not going to walk 2 1/2 more miles today. I think I'll end up around 8,000 depending on how long my dog will let me walk him.
I'm sad that I'm starting my year off this way.
