new year & my goals

A new year. For some it’s another year to finally reach the goal for the perfect figure always eating clean meals, becoming obsessive and in times withdrawn, so hyper-focused on the goal; the dream.
Sorry but I’m over that.
My goal is to challenge myself and have more fun. What does that look like?
Taking barre class because I love it. Trying new recipes. Learning how to DIY projects around my house. Going to a comedy club. Having drinks with new friends. Taking a hike. Enjoying dessert. Trying new classes, whether it’s a boxing class or cooking class. Facing my fears. Growing out of my comfort zone.
What does it not look like?
It’s not tracking how much water I drink in a day. It’s not counting calories. It’s not tracking my steps. It’s not forcing myself to workout every day. It’s not tracking macros.
It’s about actually and truly living my life ☀️
