Goal Achieved: 16 Hikes in 16 Days 🥾 🥾

I achieved my goal of going on 16 hikes in 16 days!
Instead of doing the typical couch potato routine over winter break, I set a movement goal this time around: Go on a hike every day of the break.
- Shortest walk: 1.3 miles
- Longest walk: 8.2 miles
- Total distance: 56 miles!!!
Now the trick will be to keep up the momentum when I go back to work tomorrow. My goal is to get an average of 1,000 steps per hour throughout the day.
My secret weapon is the new fitness tracker I got for Christmas. It will help me keep track of my steps and calories, and remind me to get moving when I've been sitting for too long.
Another thing of learned by wearing a fitness tracker: I am not sleeping well at all. I wake up 5, 6 or 7 times a night, and get very little deep sleep. So I'm working on that piece, as well.
